Thank you to Professor Aston who delivered yesterday's brilliant community lecture about pets in Ancient Greek life!

We had an incredible turnout for the second in our series of community lectures, with over 60 people in attendance, including students, staff, and community members. It was truly fascinating to explore the Classical Period together!  A big thank you to Professor Aston and the University of Reading for supporting this community event.

We’re excited to announce that our next lecture will be held on Tuesday 29 April, where we’ll be diving into the world of Geography with a talk from Prem Gill (University of Cambridge) titled 'Seals from Space: How Polar Explorers Use Satellites to Study Antarctic Wildlife.' Everyone is welcome to join us for this exciting and educational free event and there is no need to register in advance!

In the meantime, photographs of this month's lecture can be found below.
