Asking for help card

Through the use of an Asking for help card a student who struggles to request help or express their difficulties in class can indicate “I'm okay” (GREEN) or “I need help” (RED) by placing the card on their desk for their teacher to see. In Autumn Term 2024, 86%  of the seven students using the Asking for help card felt able to indicate that they need help without raising their hand or asking directly. These students accessed more of the learning content in class, felt better supported and were better able to progress.
